Buying steel toe or safety toe work boots and shoes, can be sometimes a difficult process. More and more people in the work force today, have to wear safety or steel toe shoes or boots, mainly because of the different work conditions that they are working in.

These are some of the important questions that should be asked by an experienced salesperson when purchasing and getting properly fitted for a steel or safety toe boot.
Metatarsal boots are another type of safety toe boot. This type of boot is generally worn by people who are working in steel mills and other environments where an extra steel flap is covering the top or the metatarsal of the foot. These types of boots are stiffer and heavier than you average safety toe boot.

- Carbon Composite Toe: Carbon fiber construction keeps weight at a minimum while maintaining strength and meets or exceeds the ASTM Standards for compression and impact testing of I-75/C75
